As a self taught artist I love to show the beauty of repurposed materials showing that discarded or weathered things still can be of value.

Crashing waves/dragons and the human form are my favorite subjects to sculpt. I love sculpting in the round so my works can be viewed from all angles. Polymer clay has been the medium I fell in love with as a young man, after being inspired by a local Renaissance Festival artist who made polymer clay dragons.
Where do you find inspiration? In nature and the world around me. Since all the world's tsunamis over the years (2004–2025), I was inspired to create the work I submitted, 'Tidal Memories,' in the style of works by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. It is my goal to show polymer clay not just as a craft material, but a fine art.
What would you do with $25,000?Life's been a ride, it would be nice to relieve some debt stress from my life so I can focus on my artwork and the book I’m working on. I have a message for humanity I would like to express through my art and the writing I’m currently compiling, and I feel this would contribute greatly!
