What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art is that which can be seen out side the , gallery, museum for those who are not in this realm. I bring focus on art that is accessible to everyone in public places. My work can be found in public parks, school, colleges, libraries and municipalities. My latest is a (wishbone) at Sweetwater park SD Ca. They are all site specific echoing their surroundings and themes that educate and bring new awareness. I love the permanency, durable materials that unite the landscape history ,

Where do you find inspiration?

The most exciting component of this process is conceptual development. I’ve learn to trust my instincts , looking beyond the obvious . Finding a common denominators for the site is key. I am a catalyst. I enjoy and encourage feed back. A word, a notation ,a breeze, a memory, a mark on the street .. The act of trusting one’s vision ,allowing for life to intervene my thoughts. Im grateful to be apart of the creative culture contributing to the world for people who are empowered by art

What would you do with $25,000?

Funds will be used for the Red Back Pack project, I developed this during COVID. Pack backs were gifted to indigenous children. Kuymee & Pai ipa This tribes reside on Mexico side. These were divided during the USA/Mex border divide with their counter part .Quality art supplies pack packs will given to children on a larger scale, such as sketch book , drawings materials, paper , water colors , markers…Demos to learn how to use and mix media. Encouragement, guidance and a new start with art.
