I love frivolous things, lewd ideas, and the human experience. I am a full time person, creating with the hope to inspire to express.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The freedom of expression via whatever means I deem necessary to convey my concepts - that is my favorite way to go. I’m not by any means anything but a layman , nor do I expect my work to ‘er be valued more than I value the process of creating it. All this and a bowl of fruit loops enjoying the moment, understanding, that all done is just a temporary expression of is, frivolous, all mighty!
Where do you find inspiration? My dad told me something, along the lines of, and I have in turn internalized this as - inspiration is for the lazy to find an excuse to avoid the destructive process of creation. I let all the nonsense in and around us, things beyond my control - vomit it all up in one way shape or form. Existence is chaos, we people shape it into form, a very exhausting process. Expressing yourself is only for the motivated to face entropy, ever accepting failure as a part of success. Embrace the suck..
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I’d probably blow a chunk of it on an absurd amount of anxiety and a mountain of Fruit Loops. The rest goes purely into blowing up the scale of my work to drag this whole chaotic process out of the garage (rented) and into the public eye. Life isn't sacred; it's a shared, glorious mess we get to partake in shaping in. I guess it could be found out ! Support the Guild.
