Creating art allows me to express a part of myself I can’t express with words. It allows my imagination to transform thoughts into reality

I love to use materials in unconventional ways or depict surreal and exploratory subjects. My favorite type of art to create is decorative, intricate, and colorful or stark in contrast. I feel that the world in recent years has become too minimalist, stripped of character and pure expression. Any art I can create that makes our world a brighter, more beautiful, and positive place makes me feel fulfilled.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration most in nature. People often underestimate the resilience and patience of nature. I find those qualities, not only inspiring, but admirable. I also find it inspiring the way nature is able to brighten the world with its vibrant colors and shapes that work in correspondent with each other, like the way vines wind around a tree and coral creates shelter for the glimmering fish who cannot hide their beauty from prey.
What would you do with $25,000?I am currently a college student attending the Savannah College of Art and Design studying graphic design. I would use $25,000 to help me pay for my college education. I am currently a sophomore at SCAD and would love to finish my last two years here making connections and designing for incredible brands! However, doing so may not be a possibility financially for me unless afforded the opportunity.
