It is a heart filled journey. My favorite art to paint is art that touches other hearts in some way. I use acrylics and am self taught. Often, it is Angels, sometimes birds…those whimsical souls frolicking about... often sight unseen. Watching over us. I love to paint them and give them to people I love. The process of creating art is a healing gift you give to yourself and others. Art isn’t about perfection. It’s about letting go of it.

In everyday life. Mostly In people around me who inspire me. I often feel called to paint angels and spread a little love and peace in this crazy world. I surprise people and pop them in the mail. I have a little secret goal. To send an angel painting to every person who I have loved or who I know is facing something challenging. It keeps me painting, reminds me of friendships that were precious in different seasons in life. Spread the love through art. Everyone's going through something.

I don't know. I could sure use it! I’m on SS and retired. I’d give some to my kids to help with their mortgages! And then either buy a refrigerator and take a little vacation with my husband or both. And buy more art supplies and send more angels to long lost friends.
