Drawing feels like a quiet escape, one of the few places where my mind can rest and my heart feels at ease. No pressure for perfection.

My favorite art style is realism. I love creating detailed, lifelike drawings. I like using pencil and charcoal, focusing on depth, shading, and capturing real life subjects! Makeup is my second favorite kind of art to create! I absolutely love transforming someone into a character and enhancing their features when I do Bridal makeup!
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes largely from my cultural roots. I’m drawn to old school Mexican art, as well as personal and meaningful subjects like self-portraits and religious imagery. Even when I haven’t created in a while, those influences stay with me and shape the way I approach realism.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were awarded $25,000, I would use it to create greater stability in my life by paying off my home and purchasing a car, as I currently do not have reliable transportation. That independence would make a meaningful difference for me and my daughter. I would also save a significant portion and set it aside for her future, as she is my biggest motivation.
