I create art to ground myself from the daily circus of work and life. Sketching on a blank page, inking the lines, or throwing some color

Dabbling between real and abstract, mostly abstract. Hard to say what it is until it’s finished. It enables me to lose myself and find myself at the same time. From monsters and animals to tributes and characters, doodling in a small book or layering color in the sketchpad, it’s all about that little spark of madness and not losing it.
Where do you find inspiration?Comic art is where it began, the realism of Alex Ross, the styles of Joe Madureira and Mike Wieringo. The visual story mixed always made me open up a book and go. Anime and manga are also there, along with most cartoons growing up. Loved trips to the Met but harder to do. I draw while at work so it’s about stealing moments.
What would you do with $25,000?First, bills. Maybe expand my art as well but let’s see. Would like to try some real painting.
