Art, for me, displays the reality of the world in its true form. Its emotional and passionate totality. That is why I love it. And it’s cool

Abstract art with a bunch of colors. I’ve always been attracted to paintings with a bunch of stuff going on yet it still comes together. And so I paint things that way, with a bunch of stuff going on, maybe it’s many different individual things that are conversing with each other on canvas or many different lines and colors, shapes and patterns that build up to one cohesive yet contrasting painting.
Where do you find inspiration?I rarely come to the painting with a fully fleshed out idea. When I paint, each stroke inspires the next. I don’t want to be fake deep but truthfully I do think it’s reflective of real life. No matter how much we act as though we know the next thing to do or where life is heading, we do not. Our next decisions are reactionary or educated guesses based on what you believe makes sense. I also am inspired by two artists slawn, basqiuat. My culture, interests and feelings factor in as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy a lot of supplies. I want to be one of the greats who are remembered forever so I’d buy the material that’d help me with that like canvases n things of that nature. I’d use it to be big projects. I know success is dependent on publicity but I don’t want to market like some ordinary artist you see on instagram. I’ll do projects in places like my city Boston where thousands and thousands of people will walk past and take in my art. I’d also help my mum pay her mortgage a little bit.
