I love creating detailed, stylized art that lets me fully disappear into the process. From sketching strong compositions and expressive line work to coloring, sculpting, and finishing a piece, I enjoy every stage equally. I’m especially drawn to symmetry, the human form, and the balance between masculine structure and softer, delicate beauty. I’m very detail-oriented and perfectionistic, so creating art becomes a kind of meditative space where I can keep refining something until it feels complet
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, but especially in anime, manga, animation, designer toys, and sculpture. I watch animated content daily and am constantly inspired by the storytelling, movement, and stylization in everything from X-Men to Jujutsu Kaisen and independent shorts. Tom of Finland, designer toy culture, and ancient Greek sculpture all inspire my love of anatomy, symmetry, expressive line work, and bold visual identity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to fully invest in my growth as an artist and move closer to creating art full-time. I was recently accepted into the Tom of Finland Foundation residency program, and this support would help cover time away from work, materials, and the final exhibition. It would give me the chance to fully focus on developing ambitious new sculptural and illustrative projects without financial pressure.
