For me art is one of the purest forms of creation. The ability to bring something to life that was only real in your head or keep a memory.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Generally in all my work I try to capture some form of expression or story, I want my pieces to capture a sense of life or soul. In my experimential less commissioned work I love when I am able to transfer a crazy idea I had in my head (that I struggle to explain through words) on paper. I enjoy when I can play with humor and subtle gestures. But my favorite art to create, is when I don't know I'm creating it and it makes someone else incredibly happy.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere, sometimes I wish I was an octopus with eight arms to facilitate all the ideas that run through my head. I have a notebook full of future projects to tackle and list constantly grows. Mostly my ideas come from daydreaming when I'm supposed to be focusing.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay off my student loans first, and with the left overs I would buy more materials and check off as many ideas from my project list. As well as reinvest energy into my recently launch petsoncanvas side business.
