I love creating mixed media collage pieces that tell the story or journey of a person or icon, blending layers of paint, imagery and creative. I’m equally drawn to creating free-flowing abstract works that capture movement and raw expression through brush strokes, texture and splashes of colour.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from a deep love of sports, movies and entertainment, iconic culture, and the moments of everyday life. I’m also driven by an appreciation for art history and constantly learning from my favourite artists of the past and present. At the core of it all, is a relentless need to create and a fire inside me that pushes me to brings my ideas to life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the funds in upgrading my tools and supplies, enhancing my workspace to support an inspiring environment for consistent creation. I would also host a solo exhibition to showcase a cohesive body of work. I’d also allocate a portion to marketing through designing a professional website and digital promotion to elevate my visibility, reach the right audience, and create new opportunities as an artist.
