I love to create personal stories through my art whether it’s a photograph, painting, or a print. Because no matter how personal, anyone can relate to the feeling they get when seeing my work. It’s the most human way to connect with one another, despite never knowing who the artist is.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through old photos, sketches, and the art that surrounds me in the places I grew up in. Growing up in a sicilian household exposed me to so many mediterranean motifs that have started to integrate in my artwork.
What would you do with $25,000?I would be able to continue my studies in fine arts and go on to practice at a graduate level. One of the most important things to me is to have an education, and being able to fund that goal of mine will make it accessible for me.
