It’s beyond my understanding, but if I had to put it into words…I create art because I can see my thoughts manifest themselves tangibly.

Stylistically, I enjoy art that has a blend of surrealism and abstract qualities. I guess you could say I’m a huge fan of Frida Kahlo and when I paint I’m often inspired by how she was a confident artist that wasn’t afraid to be her authentic self. The art that is real and authentic, despite the style, I would say would be my favorite type of art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from different artists of the past, current known, and current less-known artists. Other bits of inspiration come from my memories and the emotions tied to those memories. Sometimes it is easier to paint what I’m feeling rather than explaining it. These are where I find my inspiration; however, I believe I am ultimately inspired by the creator of the universe. The creator that helps me create and execute my passion.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use that money to be able to fund a mini art studio. Currently, my paintings and art supplies share a room with two kids, so it would be nice to have a safe place to store & create my art. Also, with a mini art studio, I could create bigger pieces and have a space to be able to take quality pics. Ultimately I would love to just be able to create so I can share my art with people that will enjoy it.
