Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration stems from a lifelong devotion to art and a deep respect for diverse cultures. I am particularly drawn to the intricate, grand style of European church art, which informs the high level of detail in my oil paintings. By blending symbols from different religions with natural landscapes, I create "imagined worlds" of spiritual unity. I also find profound inspiration in animals, capturing the "familial love" and healing energy of cats and dogs through a refined, classical lens.
What would you do with $25,000?This award will fund the creation of a major series of large-scale oil paintings that blend classical European church aesthetics with global spiritual symbols. I plan to use the capital to secure a booth at a premier international art fair, allowing me to share this message of cultural unity with a wider audience. True to my mission, I will also donate a portion of the funds to rescues for stray dogs and cats, ensuring my art supports both human connection and animal welfare.
