I make art to calm my soul. I see things and need to use my camera, feel something and paint, imagination creates creativity.

I don't have a specific favorite, I am very versitile in my artwork. I like resin and clay projects, turning trash into beauty, altered moments. But, if I had to pick, there are 2 that would be equal to one another. Painting and photography. When I paint, I don't know where I'm going with it, my emotions take over the outcome, the brush, my fingers, anything. With photography I love taking a different approach than others. I want the image seen as I saw it. So, I focus on using LRC mostly.
Where do you find inspiration? For my photography I find inspiration mostly in nature, insects, flowers, waterfalls, the Grand Canyon, all of creation draws me in. Painting, my best inspiration is my small family; my husband and children. I also find inspiration in my emotions of hurt and love, some mental health struggle;, it's a wonderful release from the pain that can fester, and a beautiful outcome when the happiness takes over. Our feelings bring out the true art, no matter the type of art you connect with.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would 1st. Buy a reliable vehicle for my work. My husband and I have always said that if we had the ability to help someone, that's our ultimate goal. I am pretty frugal, there's a lot of ways the money could be used to further my art career and also pay it forward to someone deserving but has fallen on hard times. Like we have. God has blessed us in small ways during struggles. To bless another would bless our hearts forever.
