I love creating art that takes me on a journey and pushes me to my edges. All while asking me to surrender and trust the process in real time. My work is layered and holds all of me; from quiet and introspective moments to wild, raw, and messy ones. I’m drawn to both rough and smooth textures and the tension of bold, vibrant color against softer, muted spaces. Each canvas becomes a living record of the multitudes I carry and who I’m becoming.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere, in both my inner and outer world. I’m drawn to quiet moments where I can drop in, go deeper, and create from that place, letting whatever wants to come through, come through. I’m also inspired by the world around me: nature, animals, music. I often bring music and movement into the process and allow the energy to move through me and shape what unfolds.
What would you do with $25,000?As a freelance artist, $25,000 would give me space to breathe. It would take the pressure off my work needing to immediately support me, and let me return to creating without survival in the background. I’d use that time to go deeper into my work with less urgency, more trust, and more exploration.
