My favorite work lives in sculptural and mixed media on wood, oil on canvas, pieces where form and texture hold presence, and the eyes become the storyteller. Through them, something unspoken is revealed, something felt rather than explained.
Where do you find inspiration?I don’t seek inspiration, I recognize it when it arrives, through dreams, visions, silence, or the stories shared with me in commission portraits. I begin simply, allowing each piece to guide its own direction. Inspiration lives within, in emotion and in the act of creating itself. In painting portraits, I connect deeply with presence and memory. Each work brings a sense of fulfillment and reveals something about my beliefs and who I am.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pour it into my art,bringing my visions to life. I would create pieces that carry meaning , that remind people who they are, that they are creators too. I would invest in documenting the process & sharing with the world so people don't just see the final piece, but feel the journey behind it. I believe we are all creators. Sometimes people need to see ,reflect back to them to remember. This wouldn't just be about making art, it would be about creating connection,inspiration & belief.
