Art turns raw emotion into something seen, felt, and understood. It gives meaning to pain and lets others feel less alone.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Poetry is my favorite form because it captures entire emotional worlds in just a few lines. I focus on brevity and rhythm, allowing intensity and simplicity to coexist. My work often explores healing, identity, and transformation, turning deeply personal experiences into something universal. I aim to create pieces that feel like mirrors, where readers can see themselves, not just me.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everywhere! Quiet moments, emotional intensity, nature, music, and even the unnoticed details in everyday life. I’m especially drawn to the hidden meanings in things: textures, fleeting thoughts, and half-formed emotions. My own life experiences, both painful and beautiful, fuel most of my work. I write to process, but also to connect, because the most personal truths often resonate the widest.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in bringing my work to life in a bigger way, publishing my poetry collection, creating visual and audio content, and building a platform to reach more people. I want to turn my art into something accessible and impactful, especially for those navigating healing and self-discovery. This would also give me the stability and time to create consistently and expand into collaborative projects.
