Roxehna Lapham

I create art as a way to release my emotions, I can express how I’m feeling in subtle ways or relax my mind by zoning out into my artwork

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art is painting landscapes or fantasy themed paintings

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in quiet walks through forests and mountains. I’m also inspired by the people around me, the way they make me feel and the things they love, which I later try to capture and express through my paintings.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use the money to pay for my next year of college and finish paying off my car loan, and I would still have enough left to buy an easel and plenty of art supplies. I’ve also always wanted to travel to help struggling communities, whether that’s building shelter or providing food but I haven’t had the financial ability to do so. Additionally, I care deeply about supporting Humane Society, since I can’t adopt every animal myself, and they do so much to help animals in need.
