Art gives emotions a voice when words fall short, creating moments where people feel seen, understood, and connected.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating visual art through mixed paper media and photography. Both allow me to capture emotion, truth, and human connection in ways that feel raw and real. Photography freezes moments most people overlook, while paper media lets me build stories from pieces that may seem broken alone but become meaningful together. My art is about creating something people don’t just see — they feel.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life — the people around me, the environment, emotions, and personal experiences. After being diagnosed with cirrhosis, I began seeing life differently and paying more attention to the struggles and beauty within people. My art reflects not only my journey, but the world and people around me.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would use it to help people in my community who are struggling. My diagnosis opened my eyes to how many people silently carry pain and hardship. I want to use what I have to bring hope, support, and remind people they are not alone.
