You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a big advocate for 3D medias. I have been a practicing jeweler since 2016, working with various kinds of metals and tools. Recently I have been extending my practice in ceramics and sculpture, and am LOVING IT. I also recently started learning how to weld. I enjoy making beautiful pieces with hidden meanings.
Where do you find inspiration? The origin of my inspiration I believe comes from my Hispanic culture. While much of my work draws from the organic forms of Art Nouveau and floral design, I have recently shifted my artistic focus toward contemporary narratives that address biodiversity, animal cruelty, and social affairs. Through a somber and modern aesthetic, I explore ways of interpreting the world and everyday struggles, translating them into small, meaningful pieces, crafted and designed over long, cherished hours.
What would you do with $25,000?I have goals to pursue my business and hopefully retire my parents before I set out and advocate for communities around the world. I hope that the winnings can help me continue my business for future aspirations in helping people and animals who need a voice.
