Right now. I’m drawn to creating large-scale mixed media paintings that bring texture and depth to life. There is something about a giant white wall with a loud expressive canvas living on it. Either monochromatic color scheme or colorful and out there but the white wall acts as a calm contrast and I believe this proves that art can't be "ugly" or obnoxious and if to you it is— its probably that it was not staged correctly.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. from other artists, My home, travels, my dreams, taking acid at red rocks 10 years ago, child birth, animals, living in the Rocky Mountains, fashion. It's truly endless and it's ever changing
What would you do with $25,000?It's been a very rough year. I don't know exactly what I'd use it for but I do know that it will go my family and to pay my parents back for all the love and support they have offered me throughout this chaotic year that I know so many of us have been through. I might throw in some piano lessons as well
