Without making Art I would shrivel up and die. I make art to transform difficult experiences into peace and order. To bring peace to others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is works based on Hardedge painting and geometry. But at heart I’m a colorist and mark maker.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in Light and shadows. My life has been spent very intimately in and out of hospitals. I’ve had open heart surgery at 13. I had brain surgery for my epilepsy at 38. I’ve had over 12 surgeries in my lifetime thus far. Some fun memories I have are my brothers and sisters bringing me coloring books markers at the hospital. That’s were I started to make art. The art has always healed me and guided me through my journey. I want others to feel that healing. ⚡️❤️⚡️-Ryan. @rmc1.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would travel to hospitals around the world to paint murals and place sculptures where people need peace and healing. Art has saved my life multiple times. Cat’s have 9 lives. I have 18. Let’s help heal people who need it most.
