I'm a trained visual artist, acoustic and electronic musician. My mission is to break stereotypes by creating new settings for the banjo.

Currently digital/glitch-art and synth infused jazz fusion are my favorites. I layer several abstract, 2D, digital-art applications, and finish it through a pixel upscale editor for high resolution, to make art for the music I also make. The music is a combination of very natural (acoustic banjo, bass, piano, drums) meets, very modern synthesizer elements, and similarly modern rhythm.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration from an amazing life life packed with equal triumph and tragedy, traveling all over the planet, American music, the music of John Coltrane, my friend, the intrepid guitarist John McLaughlin, Miles Davis, the great Ali Ackbar Khan, Square Pusher, Wayne Shorter, the journal writings of Bruce Lee, — powerful psychedelic trips, nature's power and beauty; and any visual art that portrays the color spectrum of the universe the same way all of the above mentioned music does.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd take 25k like a blessing and make more awesome art! I'd finish my current project. and release it in some sort of physical format (LP maybe). And of course I'd like to use the remainder to make a video of my favorite musicians performing live, with the corresponding artwork projected in the background, and possibly get the next project started. I'd like to make more similar artwork all around and get it to people who it will motivate and inspire!
