I love Michelangelo‘s comment: “The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection” My goal is to learn, create and share!

I love the challenge of replicating master artists, but I but I also enjoy the painterly freeness of impressionism…so I would say my fascination would be somewhere between Rembrandt and Van Gogh… I love the vivid contrast of Rembrandt and the bold colors of Van Gogh!
Where do you find inspiration? It’s hard not to find inspiration in everything! I would say 3 things specifically help to inspire me: 1. Studying other artists work. I have done replicas of some amazing artists like Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh, Sergeant, da Vinci, Lempicka, and others 2. I appreciate looking at creation and observing the intricate beauty of the things made. 3. Local surroundings. I keenly observe my surroundings: people, animals, landscapes, buildings and the way light reflects on these things.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to do more Art! I would possibly build a little gallery/ short term rental to share my work!
