I create art to express the divine essence of my humanity, thus creating a space for others to explore their inner world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is filmmaking; moreover, the alchemic transmutation of one’s identity within the cinematic medium explores every facet of art and personifies the exploration of our lives from this one and into the next. We gather the fundamentals of this mythos in our ancestral lineage of storytelling, for we all carry a message that is experienced, felt, and meant to be shared. Art as a whole can uplift and create a better world for us all, so let us be embraced by the light.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the 31 years that I have lived on this planet. The hero’s journey faces all kinds of challenges through the depths of our healing and suffering; albeit, self love enacted with discipline orchestrates a magical, ethereal acceptance of our choices. The breath of every human being is inner connected, and with a blessing to let go and open your heart to others, you begin to recognize that we all are walking each other home. We inspire to remember, love, and serve this gift.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to help fund a documentary/narrative of my journey from central Va to LA, publish a book of poetry, and help promote non-profit organizations that supports local artists, special needs, and homeless communities. My art collage is called The Beat of Life, and I do not shy away from the subject so many look away from. The darkness that lies behind the veil welcomes what we are aching to be called forth. My art is my life, and I will continue to share my work to awaken.
