I’m a recovering addict who discovered a passion for art while incarcerated.Learning to express myself through new mediums.Tattooing a goal.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m learning to draw abstract and realistic art. Charcoal and paint is also new to me but having fun trying anything and everything!
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from my past and present journeys. In addiction I resorted to criminal activity to support my habit. In recovery I draw and create to keep me grounded! My art at times will express when I can’t find the right words to articulate how I’m feeling inside. God gives me inspiration and guidance daily! So grateful to have survived and to have an opportunity to help others who still struggle. It’s not easy but you don’t have to do it alone anymore! Connection, opposite of addiction❤️
What would you do with $25,000?“You keep what you have by giving it away!” I would find effective ways to put the money into action to help eradicate homelessness in my City and alleviate the pain people endure through active addition. This money would certainly help me build a support network focused on real change, helping the hopeless regain dignity they can keep by learning to give it away❤️.
