I love creating art that focuses on people through the lens of childhood memories like moments filled with innocence, curiosity, and quiet emotion. I’m inspired by nostalgia and the way memories soften over time, becoming both beautiful and bittersweet. My work aims to capture those fleeting feelings and turn them into something tangible, allowing others to reconnect with their own past and the emotions that shaped them.

I draw inspiration from my family, friends, and most importantly, my relationship with God. These influences ground my work in love, faith, and human connection, allowing me to create art that feels both personal and meaningful, while reflecting a deeper sense of purpose. I find that the colorful view of childhood has been clouded with the hardships of the adult world and I strive to convey that fleeting feeling of joy with bright and over-saturated colors!

If I were given $25,000, I would invest it into growing my art and developing my nonprofit, Canvas of Us, a dream of mine to help those experiencing homelessness, especially veterans. Canvas of Us aims to create a safe space where individuals can create and sell their art.
