I create art because I love how thoughts and feelings can be expressed through an image which makes people feel the moment as their own.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is storytelling photography. I love creating images that capture emotion, atmosphere, and the quiet details people often overlook. For me, the best art is the kind that makes someone feel understood without needing words.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, emotions, and the small moments people usually pass by. A look, a gesture, a shadow, or a quiet scene can tell an entire story. I’m especially inspired by human connection and the way a single image can turn an ordinary moment into something meaningful and unforgettable.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would use it to continue my education and help make college more affordable for me. It would give me the opportunity to pursue a better future through higher education while continuing to grow as a young photographer. I would also use part of it to support my mom and help my family in Cuba, who are going through difficult times. For me, this money would not only be an investment in my future, but also a way to give back to the people who have supported me since I was a kid.
