Sometimes I think and feel so many things at once that it can get difficult to make sense of anything; art encourages focus and expressions.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI love abstract art because it makes it feel like there are no rules or restrictions with what your creative side can conjure up. However, I do like to try other styles from time to time because there are just so many that exist. How can you just stay limited to one your whole life? Especially as the world has grown larger with more and more artists and more creative minds with new ideas everyday. It doesn’t feel like a competition, it feels like a community.
Where do you find inspiration?Every little thing can be an idea or the start of one. Just the color of the light coming through the window, or a sound or song you like could spark images in your head. Sometimes if I’m experiencing a very happy moment I have colors appear in my mind in fluctuations and patterns. Other artists inspire me too, especially through social media today. You can see someone draw a flower and think, “I’m not very good at drawing flowers” but you try it anyway in your own style with your own medium.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use that amount of money to pay for my school loans.
