Learn More
What is your favorite type of art to create?

Photography of communities across the diaspora, showing how we have more in common than what divides us. I want to spark curiosity about people who are, more often than not, misunderstood and stereotyped.

Where do you find inspiration?

The communities and cultures themselves are my inspiration. 18 year old Bedouin horse breeders in Jordan, Nomad mother of five leading cattle across Mongolia, the sultans of the Kuna tribe in Panama and more, there is magic in their everyday lives, all daily inspiration.

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d start a creative photography program for children around the world so they can learn how to capture their magic. Curiosity about cultures and the human condition itself is the spark they need to believe that the world is accessible to them, no limitations.
