Sam Stolte Williams

I love creating art and music, because it allows me to express myself in ways that I can’t in real life. It helps free the soul of worry.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

I dig what I call fragmented narrative figuration. It usually reflects a golden moment, or fragment of a larger story. My work “serves as a pictorial manifestation of everything from visualized passages in literature to eavesdropping.” I like a controlled chaos of gestural movements combined with free verse poetry. And, i am a colorist. Every color has to sing with the other colors.

Where do you find inspiration?

Books, movies, podcasts, free verse poetry, people, love, music, and magic…don’t forget magic!

What would you do with $25,000?

Fix my Mom’s house, create more music and art, and travel more. I might even create a local sleight of hand magic shop. And, help others that need help.
