I create art and work in construction to help clear the thoughts from daily Mental Health trials! Art is the only prescription I need!

My favorite palette is a room! I love to take a space in a home or local business and make it uniquely bold with a gorgeous custom paint job. Taking a blank canvas and making something beautiful with it through color and getting to know the client. A gorgeous sunrise in a lakeside home or maybe an abstract watercolor wall for an accent in a kitchen. Paint and color can completely transform a space; it’s a way to make any space yours!
Where do you find inspiration?I have come to find that art is my medication. Struggling my entire life with SMI, paint and art silence the voices in my mind and sets me free! Every brush stroke I find myself smiling, every color drawing a feeling of serenity through my demons, every finished piece I’m motivated and proud. Painting for me does so much more than just provide a beautiful final product, painting for me is therapy. I can find inspiration, hope, self-confidence to keep going through whatever I’m facing in my mind.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to envision a sum of $25,000, I’d probably want to donate time and materials to local children in some way. Children’s hospital being painted in gorgeous ways to trigger a smile for that child, I would love to fund a gorgeous art piece in the hospital that the children could be a part of if medically able or same idea for children at home facing medical trials. Children are the best artists in my opinion and deserve to share their vision with the world!
