I create art so I am able to control the outcome of something while quieting my mind.

I love creating photo-like paintings with mixed media to add a human touch to wildlife photography. I’ve worked closely with real-life models, and photographers for my pieces, and also do pet portrait commissions. I also love dabbling in different art forms like indigenous beadwork, and crochet tapestries, but I predominantly paint.
Where do you find inspiration? The easiest way to say this is that I find inspiration in movement. Whether it is a scene of dancing people in a movie, or passing by a lonely tree blowing in a field. I find I am most inspired by nature; how free yet cutthroat it can be. Lately, I have been attending rodeos and have been intrigued by the animals in motion as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would immediately put half of the money in a savings account. With the rest, I would use it to pay for a tattoo apprenticeship so I can bring my art to a living canvas.
