I am a writer, director and phonographer so I sway between the written word and visual art. “Favorite” is not really something I can answer. I don’t really have a favorite. I am driven to create images that reflect the human condition, albeit love, joy, sadness, and pain. I am driven to create images and word soup that promote investigation, imagination, and curiosity. I am drawn to the streets and am obsessed with the connective tissue between what we feel, what we see, and what is left behind.

Everywhere. I am inspired by so much in life. Nature inspires me. The human condition inspires me. My desperate want to understand this journey of being a human being amongst other human animals inspires me. I want to participate in creating work that motivates our nature and nurture. I want to create work that reconnects people with their skin, hearts, souls, and minds. I am inspired to draw people away from the virtual world and invite them back to being human.

Honestly, I would probably pay my rent for a year so I can focus on creating art, finishing my book, and breathing without so much pressure to earn bill money. I might also buy flowers every now and then, breathe deeper knowing I am safer financially. Money is a gift, a burden, and an unfortunate ingredient in living an adult life. It also comes and goes. Peace, I want more peace. Money can’t buy peace, but it can afford you a little peace of mind.
