Creating art that delves into women’s desire has always been important to me. I want to create work that inspires and brings light to the importance of women’s sexual liberation. This is especially important given recent events in our society. I want my work to start a conversation with the viewer.
Where do you find inspiration?In the past, I have created work that delves into the sexual nature of humanity. What I create are the best parts of sexual liberation. Although the work is beautiful and sensual, it evolved from my past experience of sexual violence. The act of creating these works has been a powerful catalyst for my healing.
What would you do with $25,000?I would be able to do so much with my work. I would like to start creating large pieces that overwhelm the viewer. Honestly it would change my whole life.
