Art heals and frees me, giving my soul a voice. It’s how I tell stories and inspire my children to see beyond what the world shows.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to abstract art rooted in chaos—where movement and imperfection tell a deeper story. Inspired by the Delta, I often work with driftwood and natural elements, turning what’s been tossed aside into something meaningful. My work reflects flow, transformation, and the beauty of creating something lasting from what was once overlooked.
Where do you find inspiration?I create mixed media art using real wine, allowing it to move freely across the surface before guiding it with acrylic and watercolor. Inspired by the California Delta, my work reflects movement, emotion, and surrender. Each piece captures a moment that cannot be controlled—only felt—where flow becomes form and imperfection becomes beauty.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in growing Delta Drift Creations into a fully developed creative space—purchasing materials, tools, and equipment to expand my mixed media work and host hands-on workshops in my community. I would create a space where people can slow down, create, and reconnect through art. This opportunity would allow me to turn something deeply personal into something that inspires and brings others together.
