Using junk and discarded items that might be thrown in landfills, I love to transform it into a cool work of art. I love making interactive art pieces where viewers can touch and feel texture, or push buttons and see lights and ambience emanating from it
Where do you find inspiration?in the contrast between the colorless dark world I grew up in and the vivid life I see now. Every bright color, every ray of light, every small moment of beauty feels like a victory & drives my art. Sunlight, nature, flowers, clothes, diversity, culture, patterns anything that feels alive & contrasts darkness & death. In a way I paint what I feel was suppressed & not allowed to have.
What would you do with $25,000?Last year my son had a bad accident resulting in lotta damage and surgeries, I would get him a special bed that he can adjust to and sleep a comfortable sleep & I’d take my aging parents on a relaxing trip to Europe. We’d enjoy massages, wellness experiences, and peaceful time together, giving them the pampering they deserve. It would mean everything to me to create those special memories and show them how much I appreciate them.
