I love to create meaningful, emotional pieces to capture personal experiences. I enjoy creating portraits with intimate details using gouache paint. It allows me to express myself and work through my feelings.
Where do you find inspiration?My surroundings are what inspires me and keeps me challenging myself. The faces around me. It's an escape for me, making sense of my environment and making it beautiful. What I discovered over time was that painting is a communal act; Yes it is me with the brush, but its not about me being alone. The world-my friends, my lovers, my family-are there with me,I both depot them and they act through me,I learn from them as they appear on my canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?Some of it I would use to take a business course to continue my education goals. Allocate funds for materials, streaming equipment, and put in savings.
