Creating is to let your spirit flow naturally, Feelings turn into thoughts, and thoughts evolve into visions. My Art will tell the truth.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract with multi mediums. There are no mistakes your hand will guide you, however you feel. Just let the colors dance together and see what you come up with. I like working with collage, resin, antique furniture, paint wooden boxes to decoupage and see where the creations take me. You never know what you’re going to make because Art always evolves into something else that you made have not expected.
Where do you find inspiration?Music is my inspiration when I am in a creative mood.Sometimes it might be Percy Faith, sometimes it might be John Lennon, Van Morrison, or Marvin Gaye. Jazz and fusion make a good mix for abstract painting. I also look at pictures from current events or past histories that may inspire me to express myself politically and spiritually in art. An artist doesn’t always know what they’re going to produce until the project is finished. The art evolves as you go along, it’s in your soul.
What would you do with $25,000?1. Help out some Friends in need. 2. travel to where some of my family elders are, and visit with them. 3.Go somewhere tropical to let my mind flow, and bring all my kids together at the same time. We all live in four different states, 4. I would send Flowers to all the elders in my family, cousins, aunts, etc.. 5. I would share the winnings. 6. I would give back to those who once helped me.
