What is your favorite type of art to create?

Transformative wearable art - beadwork and textiles that move , glow and invites the wearer into a living, symbolic experience.

Where do you find inspiration?

I draw inspiration from nature, symbolism and transformation - light and shadow, Fire and Water, and the quiet shifts that shape who we are. I’m drawn to moments of change, when something becomes something else. Through these elements,I translate emotion, memory and story into wearable art that invites others to step into and experience transformation.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use $25,000 to elevate my practice into a more immersive and impactful experience. My work centers on interactive, wearable beadwork that transforms the body into story- pieces that move, light up, and invites participation. With this support, I would invest in higher quality materials, advanced lighting and mechanical components, and the tools needed to create larger, more complex works that push beyond adornment into fully realized, living pieces.
