I turn nothing into something, spinning straw into gold. Resourcefulness is my superpower. That's where my magic lives.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Painting is at the core of my practice. I work primarily in acrylic, while exploring mixed media and collage. It aligns with my intuitive approach, leaving room for flow and surprise. I feel a deep sense of comfort and excitement when moving paint with a brush; it’s where possibility opens and the work unfolds naturally.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in music, movement, nature, and my spiritual practice. The deeper I go into my work, the more it shapes how I see and feel everything—dreams, meditative imagery, and experiences in nature. In this way I’m constantly in conversation with myself and all the versions that were and are becoming. It all leads me back to myself.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funds to secure a studio space and invest in materials that allow me to expand the scale of my work. It would give me the time and freedom to fully develop a new series, with the intention of sharing it through a public exhibition. I would also invest in a portfolio website and promotional materials to help bring my work further into the world.
