I create art to feel , touch, taste, and add color to the world . I can express my ideas and emotions without speaking. My freedom.

I enjoy many genres , Painting allows me to relax, explore, and create something that feels personal. I like that it can be both expressive and unpredictable, and that every piece turns out different. I love color and with color there are endless possibilities. I can mix, layer, and experiment in ways that and unique and excite me like a child in the candy store . I think it's important not to limit myself and explore all mediums. Each new challenge helps me grow as an artist .
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in quiet, unexpected moments -usually when I'm alone , like in the shower or in the car (can you tell I'm a mother, lol) Those are times when my thoughts feel clearest, and I'm able to process my emotions without distractions. My emotions play a big role in my art, feelings tend to find a way out. Sometimes I just go. I sit down with no plan at all and play. That's what I love most about creating - it can be spontaneous and it's real .
What would you do with $25,000?I want to use art to create and donate take home art kits to the residents in low income housing. I hope to give others the tools to explore their creativity and experience the joy that comes with making something of their own. I also think having quality materials matters. And of course I'm going to buy myself a huge canvas or two and some some new art supplies! Rock On!
