Sustainably is always in the forefront of my mind. I truly enjoy bringing life back to what is considered "unusable" or "unloved goods" things just speak to me and I listen. In this process is where my art is born. I also find joy in the culinary world, with the same focus on sustainability and regenerative gardening. Nature has so much inspiration to offer. I find myself captured by its beauty and enjoy letting it speak for itself on the plate.
Where do you find inspiration?Im inspired by so much around me. The world and all it has to offer can hold such beauty and also carry so much pain. I feel this is what fuels my fire. When I see someone engaging with something I've created, my enjoyment is what they end up finding in my piece and what they take with them. My hope is that my art reminds us that everything is connected and All has purpose.
What would you do with $25,000?My goal is to open a facility where my community can come and engage in repurposed art as well. I believe creativity is a joy to be shared and with a focus on sustainability everyone can feel good about what their doing.
