I paint with light—guided by intuition, letting the unseen move through me, bridging reality and wonder.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating mixed media pieces that allow me to follow intuition in the moment. I begin with fluid inks, letting them move freely, then build layers with texture and depth. I’m especially drawn to capturing light—using iridescent paints, gold leaf, and silver leaf—to create high-contrast, moody works that reflect the raw beauty and layered experience of life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the landscapes of Montana and nature. I take daily walks on our property, watching the light move across the mountains and trying to stay present in the magic of those moments. I’m also inspired by everyday life—being a mom and a wife, the books I read, the music I listen to, and conversations with friends. All of it flows onto the canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would build my dream studio—remodeling our shop into a dedicated art space so I can move out of the basement and fully step into my work. I would also take my family on a trip to Italy, sharing the places I love and creating meaningful memories together.
