I create abstract paintings utilizing mixed media. For some work, I use different materials, such as plaster, to create texture.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the past- sometimes my own, sometimes from stories shared by others. I also like to express emotion, thoughts, or opinions on current events. All of which I hope promotes healing or connection for my viewers. I’m a nurse, so healing and connection is very important to me.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in supplies to continue making art that helps to heal and connect others and I would love to invest in other artists’ work.
