Making art helped me process my abusive childhood. And now as an adult I get to use art to be the adult I needed when I was a kid.

Lately oil paintings of small moments in life. I enjoy to play with color theory and texture. Textures, patterns, and vibrancy are my go to. Large landscapes or up close and personal foods.
Where do you find inspiration?Skylines of my Cliffside city or foods that made life worth living. Small moments that I feel I am the most myself. Not clouded by work, political aches, or my beautiful but cramped studio apartment. I look for myself in everyday life for inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?Take a deep inhale and exhale for one. I would use it to buy nicer art supplies and probably use it for my special education kindergarten classroom. School funding isn’t kind to special ed. I’d also use it to pay bills. Buy gas 😂. Buy my cats nicer toys. A new microwave since mine recently broke. Use the rest for actual savings because this economy makes it impossible for me to save money. I would do a lot. It would change my life.
