Art gives me a freedom words never quite can. Shaping whatever I’m feeling into something visible, when I can’t say what’s on my mind.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most drawn to creating work that thrives on dramatic contrast, where tension, light, and shadow collide. I work comfortably in both oil and digital mediums, but I’m less loyal to the tools than I am to the feeling. Anything that leaves room for a bit of chaos, something unpredictable, a little unrestrained, that’s where my best work tends to live.
Where do you find inspiration? My work draws from music and religious imagery to challenge systems of belief and control. I treat faith as spectacle, shaped by ritual, repetition, and collective submission. Through themes of guilt, devotion, and moral tension, I question the line between right and wrong, exposing how easily it is constructed, imposed, and obeyed.
What would you do with $25,000?I would help relieve my mom’s finical burden from her cancer diagnosis.
