I enjoy creating bold alternative block prints the most. I love combining the traditional technique of block printing with modern designs and ideas. The contrast to me creates an emphasis on how the art world never goes from one idea to the next, but expands upon itself forever creating new ideas and inspiration.

I find inspiration in many fields of my life. Nature, architecture, and dreaming all play a huge role in my designs. I have vivid dreams every night which take on very esoteric and existential subjects. Art helps me process the abstract ideas and bring the dreams into the physical world. Between this and the patterns found in nature and architecture, I find a balance of subject matter between the conscious and subconscious world.

I would be able to further invest into my work through materials, markets, and promotion. Right now I am working in a home studio and working local markets, but with a larger budget I would be able to travel further to work markets with more visibility. I would also be able to increase my inventory to enter my work into brick and mortar locations while also being able to work markets.
