Hello My Name is Sarha Policard, I am a freshman in college who is in a wheelchair and what I love about art is it makes me feel happy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is painting and sketching with mechanical pencils, markers and other materials that I use for my art work. It pretty much helps me a lot with my skills because, I learned how to draw when I was younger and helped me with self-expression, my anxiety to heal from the trauma at a young age throughout my childhood. It took me a long journey to understand how I really feel about myself and my dream is to become a painter and animator of being an artist one day.
Where do you find inspiration?Where I find the inspiration from my neighbor who is interested in art. I would like to inspire with people who are interested in my artwork and what I find more interesting about my artwork is daily sketching, exploring nature and personal experiences.
What would you do with $25,000?What I would do with $25,000 is to have an apartment with an elevator and to have a job so that I could help my mother with the things that she needs after I graduate from college. I would love to have my own art studio so that people can interacted in my art work.
